Payment & Refund Policy
This Payment & Refund Policy governs payments, cancellations, and refunds for services provided by Canadian Web Solutions.
- Payment Terms
- Payment amounts and schedule (e.g. deposit, milestone payments, final payment) will be agreed upon before project start and defined in the Service Agreement or Proposal.
- All payments must be made as per the agreed schedule. Work will only start or continue if payments are received on time.
- Accepted payment methods will be specified (e.g. bank transfer, PayPal, other).
- Refund & Cancellation Policy
- Full refund: If the client cancels the project before any work has started, we may issue a full refund of amounts paid.
- Partial refund or deposit retention: Once work begins (design, development, provisioning, third-party purchases, etc.), the initial deposit or part of the payment becomes non-refundable — because resources are committed (time, hosting/domain purchase, licenses, plugins, etc.).
- No refund for completed work: If deliverables have been completed and accepted by the client, no refund will be provided.
- Service fees and third-party costs: If the project included purchase of third-party items (domain names, hosting plans, licenses, plugins, stock images, etc.), those costs are non-refundable. If cancellation occurs after such purchases, the client remains responsible for those costs.
- Refund request process: Refund or cancellation requests must be submitted in writing (email) to our support contact. We will review and respond within [specify timeframe — e.g. 7–14 business days]. If approved, refund will be processed to the original payment method or via bank transfer.
- Exceptions & Discretion
We reserve the right to accept or deny refund requests at our discretion, based on reasons provided, project status, incurred costs, and work done.
- Revision & Rework Policy
- Projects may include a defined number of revision rounds (as per the Service Agreement). Minor revisions within that scope are included; major scope changes, additional revisions, or new features may require additional fees.
- If a client requests excessive revisions, changes that significantly alter scope, or repeatedly delays feedback, we reserve the right to treat the project as cancelled — with fees charged for work already performed.
